SLIing how easy is it.

I'm thinking of going down the SLI road, but someone told that you have to fiddle about with the setting in game & the cards as well is this ture.

I turned my computer off, plugged my new card in, booted up, went into nvidia control panel and enabled SLI, and started playing Crysis Warhead a helluva lot faster than I was before

Generally its pretty simple, slot in extra card, bootup and it will give you a ballon saying your system supports SLI, click that and it will take you to the screen to enable SLI and away you go.

The only time you'd need to fiddle with profiles and stuff is if a new game comes out that doesn't have a profile yet and doesn't work automatically (most do). And usually there is frequent enough driver updates that new games have profiles already by release.

It's really easy. As adrianr said theres hardly anything to it.

It's easy to setup but software wise it can be a pain.
