I need some slim fans to replace my noctua ones as one fan on each cooler over hangs certain things on my board. Don't really care if they're 3 or 4 pin, or even that loud. They just need to be able to shift a lot of air across the heatsinks as they'll be going on a pair of Opteron 6220s (and 16 core variants at a later date).

The Noctua's are an inch thick. So really the fans I need would be at least half that. I was looking at the Scythe Slip Streams 1600/2000RPM versions. Anything else I should be looking at?

I only have access to two, and they're both 140mm with 120mm mounts, the Cryorig fan came with my CPU heatsink so that's probably no good to you, the other is the Prolimatech ultra sleek vortex 140mm which is only 1000RPM. But performance on both is quite decent.

I reckon the Sycthes are probably a decent bet TBH.

The Ultrasleek was the other one I was looking at. The specs say that it will do 400 - 1300 RPM and shift "Airflow: 94,64 m³ / h" which is, if I'm using this tool right, 77.3 CFM, whereas the Scythe @ 2000RPM says "45.5 CFM".

Are those conversions correct? I'm terrible at maths. But if they are correct, would that make the Ultrasleek the more sensible choice due to how much air it shifts?
