Hi,

I've been looking around for a slim pc to go into a rack on a shelf (doesnt have to be rack mounted) and have good cooling as there is a fair bit of kit around it.

Looking for decent power (i5/i7), memory (8mB min) and graphics (4Mb min) with upgrade potential (no onboard) in particular which perhaps is where the challenge comes to fitting cards in. Looking to play games like Elite Dangerous, FPS and some MMOs with very high performance settings and also use it for home theatre applications. Will likely need a SSD drive as sound is not an issue but heat is.

Needs to have Windows 10, HDMI and high speed USB connectivity and bluetooth and decent sound but i've been happy enough with onboard sound with 5.1 in my past desktop builds. Will need network connectivity via lan cable, but I assume that will pretty much come standard.

Have had a shuttle in the past so not averse but I'm really finding it difficult to find out what the top 5 options are. Any advice on cases would be appreciated as I wondering if there are graphics cards which might be better suited to different form factors (e.g. ITX)

Thanks in advance

Hi, thanks for coming back to me.

I considered that, but I went for something slimmer in the Inode Fractal 202 case. Managed to pack in everything so far. However, need to get a slim fan now, so that's the next challenge!

Thanks for the advice.
