Hi all,
I have a Dell S2721DGFA that I use for work and play. Using a combination of docking stations and leveraging USB-C, I have a single USB-C for my laptop that gives me DisplayPort and USB - along with a KVM for switching peripherals to my PC - and my PC is plugged in via HDMI. The setup is great.
The laptop I am using is a HP 840 G6. It outputs 2560x1440 over USB-C. The PC is an ATI 5770 (flashed to XT).
I would like to add a YouTube/stocks and shares tracker monitor above my current monitor. I wouldn't use it for serious multimedia, just to have things playing in the background. Ideally I would want to have it compatible with my current setup.
Question - do "pure" USB-A/B monitors exist that have some kind of on-board accelerator? That would allow me to plug this additional monitor into the KVM and switch it with everything else.
If the above isn't possible, can anyone recommend a decent screen for such purpose? I guess I would use a separate wall mount for it?
