At the moment we have our old Panasonic DT50 in our bedroom. It’s only 2.7cm thick so is ideal.

It’s at the foot of our bed. There’s not much space between the bed and the wall.

I’d like to swap the tv to something a bit newer as the smart functions aren’t very good. However I’m struggling to find anything that’s as thin. The closest I can find is the Samsung Frame TVs but I have nowhere to put the external one connect box.

Most of the tv’s I’ve seen are around 6cm thick and whilst it doesn’t sound like much. It feels like it’d stick out from the wall a lot more and be quite intrusive. It’s putting me off changing.

I’m just struggling to see how Panasonic made something so thin 8 years ago and yet nowhere can get close even now!

Size wise. Ours is a 47” but I’d be open for anything from 42” to 55”.
Budget wise I’d like under £500 ideally. It’s only a bedroom tv so we don’t use it much.

I do actually have a fire tv attached to it at the moment. But was hoping to minimise the number of remotes and improve quality if possible too as an early LED tv the blacks are pretty poor.

Could be though that for the budget it’s just not possible and I’m best off as I am.

Mostly just shocked there aren’t any comparably thin TVs.
