Slimline/Micro-ATX case for HTPC?

I'm looking at replacing my aging Shuttle SB75G2 setup with a newer desktop machine that can sit in my TV stand rather than on a nearby shelf. However, the current HTPC cases seem to be a bit expensive so can anyone recommend me a new case?

I'm planning on using my old AMD64 s939 4000+ cpu, Crucial Ballistix PC4000 DDR and a Maxtor MaxLine 300 Gb SATA hard disk. I'll have a Hauppauge HVR-3000 for PVR duties. I'd like to consider using a card capable of HD displays to my Sony Bravia 26" TV so will probably need room for a PCI-E card.

At the moment the Silverstone MILO looks within my price range/setup though are there any other cases/systems to consider? Maximum I want to spend is £150.

I was actually contemplating going the other way, shuttles fit more nicely into my living room :) not as easy to upgrade as most slim-line desktop htpc cases though.

Silverstone, Omaura and especially OrigenAE make really nice cases. OrigenAE S10V looks sweet, shame it's not cheap though.

Omaura makes several, and have a nice concept making 1 cases for hd's 1 for tft screen 1 for the htpc itself if one should wish to add more in the future.

the problem with slimline cases (like the milo 02 - assuming you mean this one as there are 2) is that they're designed ideally for mobile cpu's like the pentium m etc.

Your 4000+ will probably be too hot for it. Now you could go for the lascala range, something like the lc11 should do the trick

The omaura tf8 (the tf5 is probably a tad small but might work) would also work and is a nice compromise between height and what you can fit in it - it also as mentioned has the stacking feature.

That's what I was starting to think after I posted this thread. I think the Shuttle is a bit too big and I'd like to put the HTPC under my TV so I might have to look into mobile processors, especially if I want quiet HD duties.
