Well, as any student should, were gonna have some fun with a big blue slippery slide outside our halls.

This weekend is supposed to get a tad warmer and were hoping to get it sorted by then.. but were lacking the vital ingredient... a 2~ metre wide, 20~ metre long piece of plastic... preferabley in authentic paddling pool blue...

Any ideas on where and how much something like this needs?

Right little fashion parade that would be, i got a fleece and body warmer which makes me look like a walking barrel.

Dislocations can be fixed with a bit of screaming, make sure you take pictures.

failing that, you can do it ghetto style out of bin liners. simply cut them open so it lies flat with the greatest surface area then use some wide tape to stick them together. soap it down and youre done!
but they rip easy and just arent as fun :p

Thats student ingeniuty... but we really dont need to go that low...

anyone know any costs of this big blue plastic sheet stuff.. aside from rising health insurance

Get a roll of the damp proof membrane stuff they put under floors. It’s very tough and shouldn't rip and comes in blue (at least whenever I've had any it has been). You should be able to get some from any builders merchant or Wickes or somewhere like that.

I think the product you are looking for , that’s found on building sites is called Visqueen 1000 gage. Which is normally sold in 2M+ wide rolls about 50- 100M long and costs about £12 a roll from someone like Travis Perkins.
