Hi there,
After a lengthy, and mind-numbing reinstall of my Windows XP Pro, and Service Pack 2... followed by a plethora of Windows Updates, i discovered the concept of 'Slipstreaming'.
I have seen various turorials on how to merge SP2 into an XP cd, for installing. I am happy with these tips, but have a slighly more ambitious request.
How would I, after Streamlining XP and SP2, be able to include all associated Windows Updates since the SP2 release, aswell as IE7 etc.
I found that once Service Pack 2 was installed, I had an increasing number of Patches, and IE7 required even more.
I would love to have a Steamlined CD to cover most Patches to date, to save at least several hours and multiple restarts.
Is this possible?
Many thanks,
Chris
