Hey guys wa just reading another thread but didn't want to hijack it

Could someone write or point me in the right direction of a easy to follow guide for creating a decent windows CD. What i want if possible is for it to install a few programs and drivers like WinRaR, Creative media player, Nvidia drivers, Creative drivers, Motherboard drivers, well u get the picture

Ive got XP Pro with sp2 intergrated

i believe you should do a google for "nlite" - that's the app everyone is going to tell you to use. and it's pretty easy i believe. Never done it myself though, so i could be wrong.

use the unattended guide, or just use other people's addons with nlite..

btw

use 7zip its got better compression than winrar and can unpack rar files too

Handy once you've finished your slipstreamed CD depending on how far in you want to take the CD/DVD. The MSFN forums contain application switches for unattended installation so you should check their for FAQs etc.

if you use 7zip

use my icon pack

I don't pack anything up mate i only use winrar to unzip a few of my programs and its what im used to. nice icon pack just had a look
