Why are WATERCOOLING (shops in the) UK so slow, 4 days so far and the order has just got to the warehouse! I could walk the ticket from here faster, (about 120 miles) there taking the wee now :mad:


So wish OCUK carried more varied stock, then i wouldn't go anywhere else, c'mon guys sort it out! :D
 
Yeah, have had to deal with them before. I have an outstanding order from early December still, for a single fitting extender. Since, OCuk have stocked them, so have ordered from OCuk. I haven't canceled the order, as i can do it anytime and was interested in seeing what they are willing to do about it. Since e-mailing them, they have informed me that they dont know when stock is coming (despite ETA given for mid december) and will post it when they get it.

When i e-mailed them, i told them i had a build to do in early January and they didn't even offer a refund or swap for another in a different colour, of which they do have stock.
 
Would e-mail them anyway, as i have ordered from companies for which their site said there was stock. Only to find my order stuck at the warehouse que for a week without notification.
 
What makes it worse is that you pay about the same for their snailmail as you would for next day DPD from here (well, for those that do pay for delivery here anyway :p).

I dont think its there shipping, its the bits before, i'm just wondering if they dont have a warehouse and order the stuff in??
 
Maybe you're right.
On small items you can get at least 1st class. Over a fairly small (unspecified) weight limit, it just goes to 3-5 day postage with no options. I dunno... Maybe they have a very small warehouse :D
 
yeah i am just glad ocuk watercooling stock is getting better over time. Keep giving them ideas of what you want in stock guys and if enough people say so they try to get some for us
 
I think it helps we have so many hands on representatives on this forum, it keeps shop stock updates far more active than other places. As soon as stuff is released, OCuk are usually first to get components/watercooling bits, from most of the brands.

Heavy interest in certain products in threads clearly have affects on stock and even special offers on OCuk!
 
Whilst putting my build together I had to go to other online shops as they offered lines that OC didn't (or OCuk were out of stock).

Some were better than others, but one thing that really p***ed me off was the complete lack of communication from stores (e.g. orders just sitting as being processed etc..), for example I ordered some bits from a "special" site and they sat on the order for over a week, no e-mail/phone call.

I wish OCuk would get some of those Primochill rigid tubing (e.g. the coloured ones in) & Alphacool rad's.
 
If there is a product which you think OcUK should stock then make a thread in the new product suggestion section.
 
The funny thing is, if you go through the place in questions ebay store they offer better shipping options :p

I'd asked them before and were pretty solid on the fact they will, at best only do 3-5 day shipping, which is on top of the 3 days ot takes them to post the stuff! A total last resort place for me. I've had stuff direct from Slovenia (ek) quicker.

@stulid, somethings these other places stock ocuk simply won't stock regardless....phobya for example due to phobya being owned by a certain german rival etailor of caseking.

If ocuk are out of stock I'll usually try a special place followed by someone central :rolleyes:

I do think rich has done a great job of expanding ocuks water lineup though, choice has expanded no end over the last few years and I know from speaking to him some wc manufacturers can just be plain difficult to deal with and get orders shipped.

Also just bought some bits from a special place, got it next day, but paid £10.50 for the privilege.


@mods, i hope this thread is not breaking any rules, its just showing how poor other etailers are compared to the best, which of course is OCUK :D
