Well the story goes...I recently bought an extra HDD for RAID 0 hoping to improve both boot time and application loads times. However everytime i now turn my PC on i am shortly met with a post screen named "Raid option ROM" which takes 10 seconds or there abouts "scanning drives" before carrying onto the windows load screen. This has led to no improved boot times, and depending on how long it scans for it could possibly have increased the time taken to boot.

My question being is there anyway to stop this from happening or will i just have to 'grin and bare' it? if so i'm tempted to just revert back to a single HDD's :(

Thanks,
Technics

About 3 seconds for my ctr-I raid screen. Are you sure you have missed some sort of quick post test type option in the bios? Besides, you dont go raid0 for windows boot time. Its for reducing game load times.
