All over the place
I just did a clean install from Vista to 7, and now I am having serious connectivity issues.

Straight after boot, everything will be fine, but after closing Chrome, I cannot open another webpage without having to restart the computer.

I have reinstalled Chrome and nothing has changed, but I am not getting any issues with IE8.

Speedtest.net gives me a download speed of 3.58mbps (using IE), but on my desktop I get 6.31mbps. I am with BT and supposed to be getting up to 20mbps.

Does anyone have any ideas?

i'd get the latest drivers for your network card directly from the manufacturer rather than relying on what is built into windows (assuming this is the case at the moment??)

TCP Optimizer will help you.

It didn't :(

I tried running it in safe mode, IE loaded but I got an 'Internet Explorer could not connect to the web page' error and Chrome crashed as soon it opened and I got this:

I also have tried running it in compatibility mode but no results.

It does not work when I connect via cable either, so I can definately rule out my wireless adaptor.
