slow file ransfer speed with adium

Hi,
i use adium as my messenger for my msn account. when ppl using msn send me files it transfer ever so slowly, does anyone know how i can make it faster?

If you've made sure it's being allowed through all the right ports etc. then in short there's nothing you can do right now. I believe there's some new code being added in the future to speed up transfer speeds but it's just not ready yet.

It's one of my pet hates as well and if I'm sending big files I just have to launch the mac msn client *gag*.
