Slow internet and media player:S??

Ok so i have media player 10 open and playing yet when i try to go on anywebsites or update a program it takes days for it to load or it just wont load, now i close mp10 and everything works fine. Any ideas whats makeing this happen and how to fix it people? :confused:

Well without being infront of the PC it's difficult, but i would imagine it's got something to do with MP10 downloading song/album information.

Try blocking MP10 on your firewall and see if it speeds things up. Is it just maxing your net connection out, or your CPU and memory too?

Ok tried stopping it accessing the net and still no joy.
