Slow Internet from 360?

Hey Guys,

Basically, my GFs brother has just got a 360, and is using the free 1 month free trial! He plays on the 360 nearly ever minute he's awake!

In the house there are 3 PCs (2 Wireless and Main PC) and the 360, they have 8MB Broadband which is ADSL. Since the 360s arrival there has been a massive decrease of internet speed on the wireless PCs.

Could this be down to the 360?

the 360 by default has auto downloading of arcade demos, you can disable this in the 360 network config, i found it to be quite annoying as within a week my HDD was close to full
 
It could be the line playing up. Check the 360's network activity while it's "slow" and also check the router to see sync rate etc.

Simply having the 360 on the network shouldn't do anything, unless as mentioned above, auto downloading of arcade titles is enabled - however, this isn't enabled by default.
