Slow machine after reset

Hi all,

I have a machine with i5 and 8 gigs, I started noticing a big delay in application and folder opening and a long boot time so I ran the usual scans (virus/malware etc) which showed nothing, I then reset win10 keeping my files and this too had no effect. What are the chances that reinstalling win10 will help? Does a reinstall affect the machine greatly to resetting?

Try checking your drive with CrystalDiskInfo. It may be a failing hard disk.
