I've got a Dell Vostro 360 All In One but I'm having serious issues with the mouse lagging and moving really slow around the screen intermittently.

Also having an issue where in Excel I can't select multiple cells.

Can anyone help with getting this fixed?

Sorry I should have said, its the Vostro Desktop 360 All in One - Touch Screen with the below spec;

Intel® Core™ i5-2400S Processor (2.50GHz, 6MB)
6GB2 Dual Channel DDR3 SDRAM at 1333MHz
1TB (7,200rpm) Hard Drive
1GB NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M Graphics card
Windows® 7 Professional 64Bit

I've disabled the touch screen incase that was interfering with the mouse.

I have been on the Dell website to look for any updated drivers but all the drivers on the site are the original release ones, will it still be worth updating them?

Apart from a few apps and Office 2007, nothing has been changed hardware wise and is still set up with factory settings.

OK will give that a try, as well as the Nvidia options on the display menu when you right click on the desktop, it also lists the intel options...is this normal?

Never looked at how much RAM is being used when it happens as cant really do much with the mouse to look. But it has happened when just a blank excel sheet and nothing else is open

Well, looking at the system, it uses both the Intel IGP and the Nvidia GPU. Considering it's a mobile GPU, I'm assuming it uses both for Nvidia Optimus. This basically uses the Intel IGP on light tasks, and the Nvidia GPU for the heavier tasks such as gaming. Might be worth updating the Intel IGP drivers as well.

Run this: http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/detect

This will update both the chipset, the IGP and any other Intel based hardware your Dell has to the latest ones.

Sounds worth a try, I'll give it a try in the morning and see what happens.

Thanks, you've been more help than Dell support...if thats what you can call it. Will let you know how I get on

Tried the Intel driver wizard and it had all my drivers as current and I couldnt reinstall any.

Trying to download the nvidia drivers again now, the last time I tried it said it couldnt find my card

I've added the desktop gadget for cpu and memory usage to have a look at whats used next time it happens.

for now it seems ok, reinstalled chipset drivers and disabled a few graphic options on the mouse....fingers crossed it will be ok
