Hi All!

I have a windows 8.1 desktop, running an i7 4790k, Asus Maximus vii ranger, 8gb corsair dominance 1866mhz ram and a tp-link tl-w822n network adapter.

My router is a technicolor tc7200 router with the upc firmware on it. http://www.technicolor.com/en/solut...-gateways/cable-modems-gateways/tc7200-tc7300

My nas is a seagate central 2gb.

The tp-link adaptor is V1 which doesn't have it's own drivers for windows 8 so I got the windows 7 drivers and manually applied them.

Now down to the problem!
Anything I transfer between my pc and the nas takes forever, i might be lucky to get a 1mb/s transfer speed which to me is way too slow.

My internet connection is quiet slow too. Here's the latest speed test I took: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4395064769
Now that's pretty high for how slow it's been.
I have a 240mb internet connection from my isp... Supposedly...I know that's going to be slower over WiFi but I'm lucky to get 7mb/s when say downloading anything.

I'm really not sure why I'm getting such slow speeds.I have cyberghost installed and when I'm not using it I disable the tap v9 adapter to see if that helps but no luck.

Any suggestions?
If you need more info please ask! Thanks very much :)
Oh and I should mention I have the latest bios and I think I've the latest drivers.

It says it's 130mb.I have them sperated and I'm connected to the 2.4ghz as I can't connect to the 5ghz for some reason. I have the latest firmware on the nas and not sure what it's syncing at. How would I find that out? Also same for the router sync? Sorry networking isn't my strong suite. I'll have a look for anotjer cable and see if that helps. Thanks very much!
