slow network connection after vista upg

just installed vista and i have noticed that i can only connect to my home network at 10mbps but if i log into xp pro i can get the full 1gbps of my network. is their a setting in vista that i need to change?

you installed the drivers for the network card or onboard network port on your mother board?

sounds like it to me.

The reliablity packs increased network speeds a lot.
