I installed a game on my computer the other day race driver GRID,

Since installing it my computer seems to have gone slow. I have unstalled it but boot times are still awfully slow.

I have tried runnig utilities and ativirus stuff and to no avail it's still the same.

I'M USING 64 bit Vista

any ideas on what I could do to reolve this?

Was it a special 'liberated' version of the game? If so, there is a real chance that malware of some form has also been installed. What utilities have you used? Did they find anything? I'd get hold of hijackthis and post a log somewhere tbh.

;)

Try a system restore point before you installed the game. Ratbag does have a good point though, and in that case a system restore won't do much good.

yeah its cheap also, does anyone have problems trying to get other people showing up on multiplayer , the servers are all american, that may be the problem.

I have 175GB free space on my drive.

I usally use Avira Security Suite and it did not find anything.

I have also tried:

Ad-Aware

Webroot Spy Sweeper (This did find some stuff after quarentineing them I did not notice any change)

Kaspersky online virus scan ( this also did not find anything)

Dor some reason system restore had not been making any restore points on my saytem for some reason although it is on. DOn't know what happened to it.
