Hey Everyone

Hope someone can help me out. I play Warhammer online and keep getting disconnected. Contacting them they asked for a tracert (below) and said that the link to my router is too slow, and this could be causing an issue.

Apparently I should be getting below 1ms for the Gateway??

Tracing route to www-tmmdi.l.google.com [216.239.59.103]

Trace complete.

How can I improve this??

Thanks

There's nothing wrong with that traceroute. The latency to the O2 Box is so variable because it puts a low priority on dealing with that kind of traffic over dealing with stuff that's actually useful.

OK, thx. They also mentioned a long link to America, I have contacted O2 about it to see if there is anything they can do about the hop. I need to get to France not the US!

To rule out the problem being your wireless connection, can you connect your PC to the O2 router using a network cable, and see if the problem goes away?

If you are subscribed to Warhammer Europe the servers are hosted by GOA in France I understand.
