Slow Speeds Using Devolo dLAN 500 Wi-Fi Network Kit

Hey all,

The Virgin media hub has been pretty useless regarding its WiFi range so I have purchased a Devolo dLAN 500 Wi-Fi Network Kit to spread the WiFi evenly throughout the house.

As far as a WiFi home plug goes I would have thought these would be the best going by reviews?

However, the speed when connected to the Devolo WiFi is very slow.

• All Devolo devices have been upgraded to latest firmware
• All devices as been setup as instructed
• Green light shows on all devices

Plug something into the wireless adapter's LAN port and test the throughput of the Powerline connection. If that's okay you can start looking at the wireless side of things.
