Slow to connect to network after Windows update

Windows update showed about with about a dozen new updates yesterday (or tuesday?) and since then it seems to take about 2 minutes before my computer connects to my router (its wired).

Normally i can jump straight on the internet after windows loads so this delay of a couple of minutes is pretty irritating. Anyone have any ideas what might have caused this during windows update?

Sounds like a coincidence, tried rebooting your router?
