Slow windows

Hi guys have a Samsung r60 2 gig ram 128 gig hdd comp turns on ok but when I try to launch a program it can take anything upto 2 minutes to launch I clouding Internet explorer any ideas would be gratefully received

Ps I an running windows vista

cheers guys ssd it is i already have a samsung in another laptop would a pro 840 would the same ssd fit this as that is connected via sata i think this one has serial ata ?

Just seen this for 85 quid would this fit the samsung r60plus i have checked but just want a second opinion
