Slowdown on COD2 (xbox 360)

Hi all, Recently I have noticed on my third 360 that I have been getting slowdown on COD2 when running it at 1280x720 res (HD) through my pc monitor.

I may be just being paranoid but I can swear I never noticed it before.

It is especially apparent on the mission where you have to destroy the 4 guns on the coast (british mission).

When you start you are on the back of the lorry going into the town, when you look behind you the lorry is kicking up dust, as I pan from left to right there appears to be slowdown on this part.

Just to add I don't get it in otehr games when running HD mode. NFS:MW runs sweet as a nut

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this? :confused:

I noticed some slow down on COD2.

For the vast majority of the game, the frame rate is clearly around 60FPS.

Only noticed slow down when I went a bit crazy with the smoke nades.

Yeah for the most part it is consistant. I think I am just being paranoid TBH. Noticing every little dip here and there.

Got it hooked up to my TV at the moment anyway (Saumsung Flatron 21" CRT) and even in SDTV it still looks excellent.

Yes, it was awful FPS during smoke nades. Everything else is perfect and it doesn't become unplayable during the smoke nades either. GJS is correct.

Yeah I was playing it again last night and it was just me being sat too close.

Played it last night with my pc monitor in my room (ghetto setup lol) and it looked much better and felt much smoother. Apart from Hill 400 with the smoke grenades right at the start when they all run up the hill. It wasn't chugging but it wasn't 60fps either.
