Excuse the vague title but I'm not sure what this is called. I'm sure once I do I'll be able to find out how to do it as well!
I'm designing a small site whereby the content will be in the 'background', looking through a window akin to a secret garden. When the content is scrolled I want the foreground to scroll but at a slower rate, so effectively when the page is at the top it's at the top of the foreground, and when at the bottom it shows the bottom of the image.
But if for example the content is 2000px in height, I only want the foreground to move say 100-200px.
Does that make sense? Any pointers in the right direction would be grand. I'm guessing it'll be done via a static div which some JS moves manually when scrolling.
