Slowing my PC down

Hello.

Does anyone know a good program to slow your PC down ?
I am trying to play my favorite Dune2000 and its running at about 10x speed

I have done a quick search on the interweb but all the programs out there look well dodgy !!

some videos for me play in super speed, have no idea why though :confused:

There's a program called MOSLO which was very popular back in the day.
Not sure how well it would cope with modern operating systems though.

However as it's a reasonably modern game you are trying to play I wouldn't have thought it would be necessary as presumably it is Win32 native. Enabling vsync will probably do the trick as long as your refresh rate is set low enough.

Failing that it may be worth setting the affinity to a single core if you have a dual core processor.

I was thinking along the lines of it being win9x native as it's from 1998, but being an RTS it may not support 3d acceleration which could make enforcing vsync problematic.
