I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this, I have a Netgear DG834GT flashed with the latest DGTeam firmware (I think as I'm at work).
Whenever I am running a torrent program my net access appears to slow significantly (i.e. the time it takes pages to load) Downloading of anything via the web (eg updates/demos) shows that once connected shows that the speed is OK.
I suspect it is something to do with the connection settings on the router as the slow access and loading of pages even occurs then accessing the web interface of the router.
The connection to the router is by Ethernet.
Can anyone shed any light on this and how I can stop the net slow down with a torrent prog open. (is it anything to do with having too many connections open simultaneously?)
