Does anyone know how to get it out of clothes?

I stepped on a slug wearing socks in the dark the other night and twice through a normal wash hasn't been enough to remove it, nor has:

Fairy Liquid
Boiling water
Jiff
1001 Stain Remover
Cilit Bang

At this point the socks are so abraded by all the stuff I've tried I'm going to throw them away anyway, but I must conquer this foul slime before I do! If only to know how to deal with it in future.

I hope you got that slug good and proper for what it went and done. :p

I think me treading on it was enough, I just put him outside. I don't like to kill things really.

Oh and strangely the slime has been totally unaffected by all my efforts, to the point where it is just as slimy and wet as it was when I first trod on it. Amazing stuff really when you think of all the chemicals it has withstood.

If Cillit Bang didn't get it out, you're pretty much screwed. Unless you can get hold of an older batch, back from when Barry Scott still shouted - that stuff is a cut above what they're selling nowadays, and pretty much your last hope at this point.

Have you tried soaking it in Salt water?
lol'd
Mum : Whats this all over this sock?!
You : errrm slug slime

Played.
lol'd again.

Like I said I will throw these socks out anyway, I'd just like a solution now because it's become something of a challenge. Also we get slugs in our kitchen all the time (don't ask) so the chances of me eventually kneeling on one and getting it on a good pair of trousers or something is probably quite high.
