Sly soft closed

Such a bummer this :( they were/are the best at what they did I just can't believe that they are gone just like that *poof* vanished :(

:( One of the best pieces of 3rd party software I've ever paid for. I'm certain many HTPC owners like me will be saddened by its closure. The pirate file sharers win due to this as a fair few people will turn to the torrent sites for media content rather than buy legitimate copies and 'backup' said copies using anydvd & other copying encoding software.
 
Sad news this software had many legit uses:

1: HD-DVD software playback.
2: BD & HD-DVD playback if you do not have a HDCP compliant display.
3: Multi region DVD & BD playback (you only get 5 region code changes before its locked forever to the last region code used.
4: Bypass Software BD players region locks which are also limited to 5 changes only.
5: Cinavia DRM bypass (this does not allow many programs to run on your PC if you want to watch a BD movie Cinavia cripples the audio playback).

Now Slysoft is gone there is no other software to do any of this. The other similar products will all be scared now & probably go away within the next few weeks.

Its all because 4K UHD Discs are arriving in the US from 1st March so Hollywood wants to stop those being copied or ripped & decided to DMCA Slysoft's owner in return for him avoiding any legal issues even though Slysoft are based in the Bahamas to avoid that they went after him anyway & he decided to comply & ceased trading 2 days ago.
