Which is better? Im looking for a 19incher for general use/ some gaming some movie watching

I have both of them...

And i prefere the Acer

I've seen the 913 (VGA version) and i have the Acer myself...

I know the Acer is very good, and the samsung seems so too...

however i prefer the WS aspect, so id recommend the Acer

The Acer AL1916W is a cracking monitor for the price... the only downside on the 19" widescreens is the depth is less than a standard 17" or 19" tft. If you can afford the 20" widescreen monitors i`d go with them, and pixel mapping is handy also... ie if you need to run a non widescreen resolution, the monitor will display such, and not stretch it across to fill the screen (borders to the left and right).
