Smackdown vs Raw: 2008

Hey guys.

Been a fan of wrestling my entire life, but got tired of WWE around 2001 when ECW folded and WCW was bought out... that aside...

I quite enjoy the SvR series, this years is good but seems to have some annoying flaws in it.

Now am I just being a complete spaz, but have they removed the targeting system from this years game?

There doesn't seem to be a button that I can press to look at someone else.

It randomly changes who my charatcer is looking at sometimes depending on how close I am, but mostly it just attacks the person I don't want to hit.

I enjoy matches with lots of guys fighting it out, the ECW extreme rules match is a laugh...

But when somebody is pinning someone else, and I can't change my target to break up the pin...

Please tell me I'm just being a numpty and this feature is still there?

What an absolutely ridiculous idea.

I can't see how they think it's organic that the only AI your character has is whom to look at. Yet you control everything else he does.

Bah!

I've noticed a fair few other things that have caused me problems too.

Wrestlers that can do the ground and pound by pressing A.

If you are holding a weapon and simply want to drop it, you press A. Doing this too close to someone and it goes straight into the ground and pound attack :-/

4 way match, I'm beating Sandman to death with a chair. Terry Funk decides to pin Tommy Dreamer....

I want to drop my chair because it's easier to target without weapons... I press A and I jump on top of SANDMAN ( ) and do a ground!

2....

I get off him and...

3...

I lose



It's little things like that, that are destroying a very good game
