Smacked again.

Ive had 2 incidents in 2 months in car parks, 2nd time driver was about to leave but a motorcyclist stopped him. (Older drivers eh!).

Report to your insurance, get them to report to theirs, and you should for the most beable to deal directly with their insurance company. You can claim for like-for-like courtesy car too since you are not going by your policy. (It wasnt your fault, so why should you drive a pap car around)

I had a mate who dropped his bike. He took it to the garage to get it repaired and the guy quoted him £3000, my mate said "this isn't an insurance job, I'm paying for it myself" and the guy in the garage goes "Oh! £300 then"
Yup my parents car got a very small scratch, went to the body shop and came out nigh on £500.

Scratched mine down to the metal on the rear arch, went privately to a decent bloke and paid £120!
