Small 2.0 suggestions

Hello, I'm after a 2.0 speaker setup. Space is at a premium so a subwoofer is out, also there isn't room for bookshelf speakers.

I was wondering if any of these are worth a go, or if anyone has a better suggestion?
Razer Nommo
Bose Companion 2 Series III
SteelSeries Arena 3
Edifier G2000

I realise that a pair of bookshelf speakers would sound better and not cost any more, but there really isn't room.
They will be used for gaming and the odd film. I have a stereo for music.

Thanks for the suggestions but I'm not sure they're quite what I'm looking for.

Q Acoustic 3010i - these look great but are too big, there isn't space for bookshelf speakers
Wharfedale Diamond 9.0 - again these are too big
Focal Dome Flax - these look awesome but are a tad pricey at £600 for two satellites, I was thinking more around £100-£200

They don't have to be audiophile quality, just decent.

Hi, thanks for everyone's input so far. However I feel we may be drifting slightly off course so I'll be more specific.

I don't need huge bass it would annoy the neighbours - I used to use a 2.1 Aego M but the sub rumbles the house too much (I shan't be getting rid of my beloved Aego Ms though, one day I may have room for them).

The speakers will be used for gaming and the occasional film, they won't be used for music.

There will be no floor stands or wall mounts, the speakers will be on the desk to the left/right and slightly in front of the monitor so size matters, the smaller the better.

Here's a list wot I rote with your help showing small speakers and approx prices:
£65 Edifier G2000 (not sure about the gaudy lights on these)
£95 Razer Nommo
£95 Bose Companion 2 Series III
£100 Creative GigaWorks T40 II
£130 SteelSeries Arena 3
£200 Kanto YU2
£230 iLoud Micro Monitor
£270 AudioEngine A2+
£350 Ruark MR1 MKII (these look lovely but are a bit steep really)

Thoughts, advice?
