hi, I just got a EVGA 8800 GTS 640 mb card everything seems to be excellent so far, but I have a slight concern,

I noticed nvidia's new drivers dont have the temperature test thing no more, so i downloaded ntune, and looking at the monitor i noticed the 792.000 mhz gpu memory. i dont have a lot of knowledge but isnt the card ment to have 1600 mhz?

- GeForce 8800 GTS core running at 500MHz
- Shader Clock Speed of 1200MHz
- 640MB GDDR3 Memory running at 1600MHz

screenshot of my ntune monitor:

maybe i got something wrong here, but i would like to get this thing sorted,

thanks in advance

Hi there,

Since the memory is DDR the actual speed of the memory is doubled so your memory is running at 1584Mhz which is OK.

Cheers
