Hi all,

I have a business idea however I need help to bring it to life.

A part of me is swaying towards an agency 'all in one solution' which would pricier but would sort out everything plus I would have more trust that an agency wouldn't steal my idea.

Is there a way of easily finding something geared towards smaller business? I have found 'The Drum' as a resource and even that is overwhelming.

I only need a logo and a bit of basic website developing.

I guess I can just recruit 1 person to do it for me but worried they would 'take' everything. :o

Any advice?

Just find a reliable local website design company, you have simple requirements. They won't nick your idea but you can draft your own Non Disclosure Agreement if you're really worried.

The digital agencies target medium to large companies and generally are a lot more expensive.

Re logo you could post a competition at 99designs.com, you will get decent results.

Does messaging not work any more here? Just tried to send you a message.

General advice, don't go cheap, it'll cost you more in time spent managing the project and lead to frustrations and headaches. Also don't go expensive, big agencies are slow and unwieldy leading to frustrations and headaches ;)

I have two design companies, one here and one in the US so I've got a fair idea of how things go. Find someone who is responsive and engaged with a decent portfolio.

Find yourself a freelancer on Upwork. It's gonna be cheaper and you can read reviews about the workers before hiring one.
For the effective communication inside the team or for the immediate reaction on customer needs i would highly recommend to use microsoft teams sms.
Makes your life easier and the customer support more effective.

That's a bit of a thread bump. @SideWinder how did it work out in the end ?

Hello!

I sourced a quote from an "all in one" solution from an independent guy which was def achieveable however my mate and i realised the way to earn money from it was a bit limited.

Its still a random idea (it was an online game akin to Heardle) but realised our target market would lose interest quickly, sadly.
