I need som advice urgently! i am off for a tour of india on friday for 6 weeks and i need advice on a camcorder. It MUST be able to fit inot a jacket pocket. budget wise i am willing to go up to about £500 and i dont mind buying second hand if i have to. one model i have looked into is the Sony DCR-PC55E. thats about the size i am looking for.

If anyone can give me any advice into any other models or any other websites where i could get some info on this i would be very greatful

Thank you in advance

Sony seem to be the ones to go for.

I am getting the Sony DCR-HC35 Small and great features. Approx £210 if you shop around.

Ive had the PC55e for just over a year, its great - tiny, v portable, and i cant fault the quality! Works really well with its docking station, using firewire to capture in Premier it works flawlessly. All in all, highly recommended. Enjoy! :)

The PC55e is a sony.

How bad are the cheap ones? I fancy one just to have but i don't want to spend £200 on something which will only get used once in a while for shows and stuff.
