Small Camcorder

Looking for a compact camcorder that does 1080p. We have our first child on the way and the wife wants to film him growing up. She has an iphone but no space to store videos on it. Ive looked online but none have really grabbed me. Looking to spend 200 max. I also thought about getting a compact camera with 1080p filming as it would be less bulky then a camcorder.

What do you think?

Clear out a bit of space on your phone, and use that. There'll probably be few times that you'll want or need to record more than a couple of minutes at a time.

99% of the time you won't have any other device with you, especially not a full blown camcorder (no matter how small), or even a compact camera is often not to hand.

Use the phone you've already got, and you will always have on you.

As above phone is ideal for video snaps just clear them off regularly, you'll film tons most of which you will never watch! If you go with a dedicated cam you'll never have it with you when you want it!
