I recently bought some fresh parts to upgrade a PC and have run into an issue with cooler clearance, so am looking for some suggestions.

Full spec here - https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/new-pc-spec-check.19007675/

The motherboard (Sapphire Nitro+ B850M WiFi) and cooler (Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 SE CPU Cooler) appear to be incompatible in that the cooler interferes with the PCI-E slot that I need to use for my graphics card, see below.

There doesn't appear to be an option to rotate the cooler by 90 degrees, so the clearance can't be changed other than by replacing the Peerless Assassin with a smaller cooler.

The graphics card (Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 9070 XT) needs about 6mm clearance above the PCI-E slot, so I'd be looking for a cooler that is 100mm wide at the most.

I'm cooling a 9800X3D, any suggestions would be welcome.

Cancel all that! I hadn't appreciated that the Peerless Assassin is asymmetric. I rotated it by 180 degrees and now have plenty of clearance.

It might've been helpful for the installation instructions to point this out.

im about to have a similar issue with the noctua ndh15 and the sapphire purer b850 board
my plan is to rotate the gpu 90 degrees and go verticle or jsut use a riser and move the gpu down a slot or two [and probably move the problem further across the board lol]
so im going to have to take drastic measures as i say lol
