Small dent on new hard drive, keep or replace?

Hi all.

Got 3 new 20tb exos hard drives and the packaging wasn't very good. One big box no bubble wrap and so the three inner cases (no bubble wrap or foam again, just inner cardboard) we're left to move about inside.

2 drives appear perfect. One has a small dent. I haven't put it into my NAS. It is tiny so should I keep or exchange? They have offered me £30 to keep but thinking if it's worth it for potential warranty issues, even if it is tiny.

This is the box as it was received (not by me)

Thanks everyone. I was half ready to get roasted posting this, because my standards for things new quite high lol.

Its getting collected this week.

How was it damaged? Has it been dropped on the floor or bashed off another drive in the box? Others could end up faulty.
No idea, wouldn't like to speculate. Could be anything really along the delivery chain.

Well the other drives look perfect and give me no issues so far in Unraid. Just finished the 24 hour scan. I guess that's the chance you take with any drive internally.
