Small Form Factor Motherboard and case

Looking for advice on parts to get for a SFF build. I have:

AMD Ryzen 5 1600 6 Core AM4 CPU/Processor with Wraith Spire 95W cooler
Corsair Vengeance LED 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Memory Kit - White LED Lighting
Samsung 250GB 850 EVO M.2 SSD

So Need a case, motherboard and power supply. Trying to work on a tight budget.

Second hand nr200 is your best bet.
Motherboard will be difficult but I'd go for the msi 550i as it has a 2amp pump header which is good for future watercooling options should you be interested. If no interest then any b550i one will be fine (strix b550i has idle issues with 4000 series FYI. Not a deal breaker as it's the most popular in the community but just good to know)

PSU of you can stretch your budget and try get the sf750 platinum as it's by far the best. Plenty of 4090 builds using it. It'll be used for many years and it holds onto it's value well.

If you are very budget constrained then try sf600 gold or the lianli options that ocuk have stock of.
 
Gigabyte and ASRock do A520 ITX boards, probably the cheapest you'll get except for used.

Is the Ryzen 1600 the original version, or the AF? The original version is not included in the official support lists, but if you google it, you'll find that most boards do still work.

Some cases like Phanteks P200 can use a standard PSU, though it's also not very small.

If you have a tight budget, small form factor might not be ideal.

Everything with SFF is expensive and a pain, ask me how I know.

I’ve got a B550i Strix, a 5700X and just sold my 3080 FE in a Lian Li Q58 and it’s lovely but wasn’t cheap.

Best small(ish) build is a m-ATX motherboard in a small as possible chassis (Linus from LTT uses this config and it fits in a TV cabinet)

For your needs, get a B450 ITX build with a SF750 watt psu all used if you can find it.
