Does anybody know here I can get a really short, small IDE cable from?

I've looked high and low, and unless I'm being completely retarded - Nobody seems to sell them.

Its as a replacement for an old shuttle system.

Heh. Dont think you can buy them, Ive never seen them for sale, unless you can find someone who is breaking old pcs as they sometimes have them.

You get a very short one (connectors both ends, not master/slave) with shuttles...see if you can find someone with a broken shuttle XPC.

Thats what I thought of doing, however surely shuttle/abit/anyone else who makes small factor pc's must sell spares?

Mine broke in literally the first ~2 months of having it and I've had to use a standard IDE cable ever since, which means the case wont close properly on it.

Well if you want one about 15cm long then just cut up one you have. Get a pair of scissors and make a cut right near the connector, you can't do much wrong if you make a clean cut.
