Continuing on the NC30 strip and service job(slightly off schedule due to the snip ) and its plug and air filter time. Air filter is nothign to look at, but the plugs are minature jewels. reacon you could get Glo-plugs for nitro cars bigger. Tiny little 8mm plugs.

The bad news is you can pay any where up to £13 per plug!! So £52 for a set of plugs.
Found i need a new fuel tap as well

Now i ask myself why did i get a bike with such a compact V-Four engine.
There is very little space under the tank to get any thing done.
Need to move top radiator forward to get to the front plugs.
Back plugs are easy, but thinking about checking the valve clearance soon.
Now i can see honda dealers change an arm and leg to do a top end service on NC30's!!

Still keeps me quiet and helps take my mind of my knee.

I really want to check my bikes plugs but its a bit more of a task than i first thought, it needs the radiator to be shifted and I think the fuel tank to be removed. My past 2 bikes the spark plugs were easily rached and could be taken off at the side of the road if need be.

Another reason why I am considering joining the RAC.

And how much of the fairing needs to come off before you can get any where near them?
Thats the worst bit, taking the plastics off.

I sold mine last year, Think I got a set of plugs for 40 odd quid, they are tiny, its fun taking them out isnt it! I soooo loved that bike, might get annother now nances are a bit better! good luck with the e-build mate.

Lucky i had long reach 13mm socket in the tool kit.
David Silvers will do em for £9 each which is good news.
Oil filter is one i bought for the firestorm, turns out most honda's take the same oil filter which is handy.
