hi gents,

im looking for a small Lan computer, the main thing is that it has to be easy to carry (preferably with a handle). I want something powerful, but need to reduc the price of it as much as i have a £1400 computer sitting next to me. Can you adivse on a reasonably priced build with some kick behind it?

edit: sorry i need a smaller computer because i have dislocation injuries in both shoulders. so i find it hard to lift heavy and/or large objects objects.

edit: i don't mind b-grade items.

I currently have kicking about ;
2x ddr3 vengence corsair 1866mhz (8gb)
1x 240gb ssd with a buggered windows on it.
1tb hhd and 2tb kicking around.

Headset, keyboard and mouse aren't needed along with monitor.

Have you considered either moving the gpu from one case to the other as you need it or even just selling your existing rig and going powerful itx to tick both boxes?

You could stick a 980ti in some itx cases.

i have considered selling my current rig, but checking the market i wouldnt be able to recover the cost on it.

i can still reuse parts of that build, im not keen on continually changing gpus between the computers tbh. What case would you suggest then? also wiht thte motherboard it doesn't have to be a skylake, can be a devils canyon build.

You might not be able to recoup your outlay but it woud definitely be easier to swallow if you end up with a very powerful itx rig.

I'm a big fan of my case but the SG13 is newer and takes a longer gpu I believe.

I'm not sure how long the various 980tis are though I'm afraid.

I can't seem to paste on my work blackberry but if you search sg13 owners club then that thread is very good.

Seems that the reference 980ti would fit.

Ti980 i would probs go with the hydrid one
