Hello All,

I'm looking for recommendations for good quality small case that i could easily fit into a suitcase. I have moved to South Korea for work and i had just built a beast of a pc at home before i left, custom water, 5820K, x99, 980TI etc.

Rather then have this sat at home wasting away i want to remove the water cooling and swap back to an AIO CPU cooler and move the parts into smallest case possible and stick a new 1070 in there then bring it back to Korea with me on my return from vacation.

Any recommendations of the smallest mid possible or small cube that will fit an ATX board.

the smallest ATX cases are usually the cheapest ones, anything high end will have to much space in it, and be to heavy. I would stick to air unless you put the AIO after transport. Bitfenix do some ok cheap ones.

i would also pack the inside of the case with foam if possible

My basket at Overclockers UK:

Total: £104.19
(includes shipping: £17.22)

as Hedge says the Fractal define C or the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M.

Ive got the Phanteks Enthoo Pro M it is a great case with great cooling and plenty of space in it.

the other case thats a nice size is the NZXT S360 its smaller than the Define C and the Enthoo Pro M but again has ample cooling and clearance for long GPU's

As far as mechanical stresses from transport (bumbs etc) are considered AIO with radiator attached to case is better than tower heatsink hanging from motherboard.
Would definitely leave attaching any bigger heatsink to after transport.
