My Mum is after a compact camera for keeping in the glovebox of the car /in her handbag to capture 'those moments' and does not know what to get.

What she does want is a small, easy to use camera with a big screen and a button system that is easy to understand.

She had a look at some camera's when she was in comet and like one that had seperate direction buttons on the back instead of the multi direction 'D-Pad' (if that makes sense)

any suggestions?

thanks

Canon Ixus :) Maybe a 65 or something, go and have a look and pick the one you think suits the needs best!

For point and shoot I quite like the casio exilim range of cameras. They've got a good range of prices so just pick the best one you can afford! I was recently looking at getting the z70.

we've looked at canons and she doesn't really like the 'circle' pad used for selecting, she prefers the seperate up / down / left / right buttons hat some camera have.
