Small Notebook?

I would like a very small, very high quality notebook. Sony used to make something suitable, but I understand they no longer do. I do not want a tablet. Any ideas?

Budget? How small is very small? One of the best Ultrabooks around at the moment is this:

Small. 10 inch display or less. Closed profile smaller than an iPad if possible.

Slightly bigger than what you requested but check out the dell XPS 13, it is 13 inch screen but fits into 11 chassis due to the really thin boarder the touch screen version has amazing resolution.
