Following some odd behaviour in Windows recently I've put the full 16Gb of memory through memtest86, results below:
It's taken until the 8th pass (~18.5 hours) for the errors to show, and an overnight Windows memory diagnostic showed no errors. Given that the error only occurs on a single bit I am not sure if this is genuine. Any memory experts care to comment?
I am now in the process of testing individual sticks to see if I can narrow the fault down. The RAM is 3 years old but should still be covered by Crucial's lifetime warranty if it does need to be RMA'd. Oh and it's running at stock, but the CPU has a small overclock as per my sig.
For info this is 4 x 4Gb sticks of CMZ8GX3M2CA1600C9 using the XMP profile (1600MHz 9-9-9-24-2T at 1.5V)
