Small office NAS

We have a small office, 3 machines, gigabyte network, etc..

Currently we use Google Drive to sync files between the three systems but this uses up space on each system (small SSD hard drives) and causes duplicates, etc.

So i've been looking at setting up a NAS with two 1GB or 2GB drives in RAID 1

However there seems to be a lot of choice and with it being a small business, I'm reluctant to pay over £200 just for the NAS box itself.

File types are mostly either word or excel documents and photos. Sometimes all three machines will be accessing the NAS at the same time.
So ideally want best transfer speeds as possible. We could use SSDs in the NAS if that improved things?

Any suggestions as to what sub £200 NAS box would offer the best bang for buck? Extra features not really required as documents are accessed 99% from site anyway.

Synology Ds216j

Also use an external USB Hard drive of the same size so you have a daily backup :)

Thanks for the comment on the SSDs.

Looks like the Synology Ds216j might be the option.
