Small optical DAC

Hi everyone

My current setup is a JDS Labs Element II, driving HD 660s and Ruark MR1 mk2.

It's perfect for my PC, but doesn't work with my Switch or Xbox One S (which I only use for 4K media playback).

I'm using a Hifime S2 to decode optical from my Xbox and from an hdmi extractor on the Switch.

Is there a better go-to optical dac than the S2? I'm space limited, so it needs to be small.

I use a Loxjie D30 for my headphones (and currently I'm using it for my active speakers... it's not my long term intention but honestly it's doing a pretty good job!)

I'm happy with it, and since you're looking to use it on different consoles it might be just a good all rounder to have around. Not too big either. There are plenty of other reviews out there to look at as well!

I actually upgraded to this from the d30. Dac is comparable with my headphones, but the amp is in a different league.

The only thing I miss is the inputs (I ordered the El stack, but they sent an Element 2 rather than an amp so I stupidly returned the DAC component...
